News august:

I've decided that the next contest will have this theme: The LL club ID! You're allowed to use images from the cartoon to mesh one together but just a screenshot with some text on won't do.
This second contest will last to the last week of september! You will have the honor of having it on display, but i'm also giving away another collage of not just one, but several of your favourite LOSH characters on the show!

Oh and speaking of winning and collages, the prize from the first contest was uploaded to the club today!

The first part of a fanfic dubbed "Sentry duty and revelations" that i wrote has been posted to the club recently.

It's mostly an LL centric story but Phantom Girl will also play a large part in it. It's written on request for RogueKitty and the main plot idea was hers with some minor ideas from the author.

Next up is some new art "Angel Eyes" from a new member of the club, FunkyFish1991!

LL Club Introduction:

Hello all you Legion of Superheroes fans and specifically Lightning Lad fans here on DA!

This club is mainly dedicated to the most recent animated version of the superhero Lightning Lad of the Legion of Superheroes. But just about any incarnation of him is just as welcome! So is any shipping related art he's in.

The legion is a large group of heroes from all over the galaxy in the 31'th century and it was founded by Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl and Cosmic boy.

The rules for joining:

1. You must be an LL fan.
2. Watch the club.
3. Put the club icon in your journal.
4. Send the club a note that you wish to
join with the subject "Joining"

As in an actual note and not in comment in the journal or as shoutbox messages, please.

As a member, If you want to submit Lightning Lad related art, avatars, fanfiction etc just send me a note and links and i'll add it.

If you want to become an affiliate of this club you must watch it, send me a note about it and put the icon in your club journal as i will put your icon in mine.

The Legion of superheroes tv show was two seasons long and the last episode aired last Saturday. It's a real shame it ended so soon but the producers had planned to discontinue even before the final wrapup i've heard.

The comic book based on the LOSH cartoon continues for a few issues more. As for the original comic book that the show was based on it won't vanish anytime soon.
As long as there are fans a fandom is never gone!

NOTE:
While it is okay to use the same rules for joining and conduct in DA clubs, it is not okay for someone to copy almost everything in this journal and post it as their own in another LOSH character club.
Someone did just that and i wrote that person a message recently. Now i just hope that person will change that journal and not keep using most of the things that i wrote here.
